The research of Fraunhofer diffraction from the ellipsoid model

  • According to the theory of Fraunhofer diffraction,the MATLAB software is applied to proceed the emulation and the standard ellipsoid model of the different body factors is dissussed.Calculation results are compared with the experiment results.So that the ellipsoid model is comfirmed superior to the ball model in the particle measure,the particle size distribution of nonspherical particles can be obtained more accurately.Finally,the body factors of the particles are achined from the inversion to the diffraction pattern of ellipsoid model.
