  • The thin film polarizing beam splitting prism is designed based on MacNeille type by using LaK2 substrate and ZrO2,SiO2 thin film material.The test show that the prism has excellent polarizing character,the splitting character is good at the range of 550nm~750nm,the extinction ratio is 2.1×10-4,the extinction ratio turns big when the incident angle change small.

Abstract: The thin film polarizing beam splitting prism is designed based on MacNeille type by using LaK2 substrate and ZrO2,SiO2 thin film material.The test show that the prism has excellent polarizing character,the splitting character is good at the range of 550nm~750nm,the extinction ratio is 2.1×10-4,the extinction ratio turns big when the incident angle change small.
