  • The relation between on-off gain of forward pumped Raman fiber amplifier and several important parameters,including Raman gain coefficient,pump power,fiber length,fiberloss,efficient area,etc.,is investigated by numerical simulation.The results are compared with the analytic solution under small signal.At last,several methods improving the on-off gain of Raman fiber amplifier are presented.
