Extra cavity 660nm SHG study of type-Ⅰ noncritical phase-matched LBO crystal

  • A research detail of Nd:YAG 1.319μm extracavity-doubling using LBO crystal is reported.LBO crystal is adopted by type-Ⅰ noncritical phase-matched(NCPM)and temperature tuned.The experiment shows that using LBO type-Ⅰnoncritical phase-match is effective to get a higher SHG efficiency.With a 1300mJ incident pump laser while temperature is 8.4℃,855mJ 660nm TEM00 mode red laser is obtained,the conversion efficiency is up to 66% and the power instability of output laser is less than ±3%.
