Development and expectation of laser polishing technology

  • The developing procedure of laser polishing technology is presented in this paper. The current situation of laser polishing and future perspective is also clarified. The emphasis is focused on the characteristics of laser polishing process and its interacting mechanism. The comparisons of laser polishing with other polishing techniques are performed roundly and deeply. The advantages of laser polishing are summed up and its problems are put forward.

Abstract: The developing procedure of laser polishing technology is presented in this paper. The current situation of laser polishing and future perspective is also clarified.
