  • The structure characteristics and the properties of laser clad ceramic and its composite coatings are reviewed. The form mechanism of clad layer and bonding zone structure and the dissolved behavior of the ceramic phase in ceramic metal composite coatings are analyzed. The effect of the cladding technologies,especially the scanning speed and the lapping treatment on the structure of clad coatings is expounded.

Abstract: The structure characteristics and the properties of laser clad ceramic and its composite coatings are reviewed. The form mechanism of clad layer and bonding zone structure and the dissolved behavior of the ceramic phase in ceramic metal composite coatings are analyzed. The effect of the cladding technologies,especially the scanning speed and the lapping treatment on the structure of clad coatings is expounded.
