  • A new kind of coating which can be used in CO2 laser heat treatment was reported.We have got some useful results by analyzing the infrared absorption spectrum of different kinds of coatings of the elemental composition in the treated zone before and after heat treating and researching the effect of different kinds on the infrared absorption spectrum of the coatings.This new kind of coating was used in the heat treatment of mobile engine cylinder.The results showed that this coating was high-absorption at 10.6μm wavelength,harmless and no pollution.Also it was cheaper than other coating and easy to remove.
