Abstract
The paper systematically summarizes the four kinds of characteristic signals as acoustics,light,electricity,heat etc.,for laser induced plasma in high power laser beam welding,also summarizes the overseas experimental methods and research status on detection of plasma signals,at last, analyses the future development in this respect.
