Abstract
The advantages of employing a variable reflectivity mirror in a stable resonator are evaluated.A radial variable Fabry-Perot interferometer (RAVI) has been applied to a pulsed TEA CO2 laser with a geometrical stable resonator to improve the intensity profile of output laser beam.
