  • In this paper,the experimental study of laser smelting WC-TiN-Co alloy cladded on the 45# steel surface by using a high power CO2 laser is presented. The surface features, such as phase structure, phase morphology, hardness,antiabra-tiveness,are analyzed. The experimental results show that there are the cardinal changes of the chemical composition and the microstructure of treated 45# steel surface,and the hardness and antiabrativeness of the surface are greatly improved.

Abstract: In this paper,the experimental study of laser smelting WC-TiN-Co alloy cladded on the 45# steel surface by using a high power CO2 laser is presented.
