  • Based on the ABCD matrix and Gaussian beam propagation theory, the Gaussian beam transforming formulas through a parabolic defocusing GRIN fiber lens are derived. The design principle of this defocusing fiber lens used as laser beam transforming device and application in an expanded beam coupling system are discussed.

Abstract: Based on the ABCD matrix and Gaussian beam propagation theory, the Gaussian beam transforming formulas through a parabolic defocusing GRIN fiber lens are derived.
