  • Based on the conditions that the transverse amplification and the point source position of unstable resonator must be the real number, we have demonstrated the unstable conditions of the Gaussian reflectivity mirror(GRM) resonator and point out that using the GRM resonator is impossible to form an unstable resonator.

Abstract: Based on the conditions that the transverse amplification and the point source position of unstable resonator must be the real number, we have demonstrated the unstable conditions of the Gaussian reflectivity mirror(GRM) resonator and point out that using the GRM resonator is impossible to form an unstable resonator.
