Review of airborne laser bathymetry

The technology of airborne laser bathymetry has been developing rapidly since it first appeared in America and Australia in the middle of 1960's.Compared with the traditional technology of sonar detection,it is characteristic of hoghly tactical flexibility,rapid survey rate and particularly useful for coastal waters.There are also a lot of civilian application in many areas.
