  • The degree of polarization of a CO2 laser can experimentally measured by using a Brewster window.Let the CO2 laser pass through a ZnSe Brewster window which is rotated around the optical axis and measure the laser power density of reflection and reflection beam in different angles.By means of the experimental mesuring,the degree of polarization and model of CO2 laser under the condition of discharge current can qualititatively obtained.

Abstract: The degree of polarization of a CO2 laser can experimentally measured by using a Brewster window.Let the CO2 laser pass through a ZnSe Brewster window which is rotated around the optical axis and measure the laser power density of reflection and reflection beam in different angles.By means of the experimental mesuring,the degree of polarization and model of CO2 laser under the condition of discharge current can qualititatively obtained.
