  • The output characteristics of the high output power transverse flow CO2 (helium-free) laser influenced by the steady resistances are studied experimentally and the optimum parameters of steady resistances are determined.When the total pressure is 60 Torr with the gas mixture of CO2:Ar:N2=1.5:10:10,the output power reaches 2.5kW,with an efficiency of 16.9%.The output power fluctuations are ±3% during twelve hours' operation.
