Reflection and attenuation of laser radiation propagating in ocean water

  • The laser radiation propagation through atmosphere-ocean is discussed in this paper.The reflection property on the interface between air and ocean water and the attenuation of laser in ocean water are recommended in detail.Lastly,the detectability of airborne-laserbathymeter is estimated according to typical parameters in current lever.

Abstract: The laser radiation propagation through atmosphere-ocean is discussed in this paper.The reflection property on the interface between air and ocean water and the attenuation of laser in ocean water are recommended in detail.Lastly,the detectability of airborne-laserbathymeter is estimated according to typical parameters in current lever.
