  • The bium metaborete crystal in low temperature phase is a new nonlinear optical material.In this paper,the measuring results of crystal defects by means of the positron annihilation lifeti me spectroscopy are reported,the kind of defects and the formation mechanism are analysed and the study provides scientific basis for over-coming defects and growing high quality crystals.
