IR optical character of PbF2 film

  • The infraed spectrum character of the PbF2 thin film is presented.The formula used to calculate the optical index of the thin film from the spectrum character is modified and according to the modified formula,the optical index of PbF2 thin film is obtained.It is pointed out that the PbF2 is a good material for infrared coating.
