  • The efficiency η of the laser with BDN dye Q-switch is a function oftwo variables,T0 and R.(Namely,T0—transmittance of Q-switch,R—reflectance of output window).We can give the function of two variables η-η(R,T0) represented by a curved surface above the R,T0-plane.This gra-ph clearly shows how η varies with R and T0,As shown,η will be in thevicinity of the peak value when R is approximately equal to T0.
