Research of wavelet fast algorithm in laser velocity interferometry

  • In order to improve the efficiency of wavelet transform in laser velocity interferometers,computing course of wavelet transform was analyzed,two kinds of fast wavelet algorithms were put forward.After comparing both the different methods,one was chosen to analyze the all fiber displacement interferometer system for any reflector signals.Signals were processed by means of general wavelet transform and fast wavelet algorithm based on fast Fourier transforamation under the same conditions.Simulation results show that signal processed with the fast wavelet algorithm was not degraded with much faster computation efficiency.It is effective that the fast method can be used to process the all fiber displacement interferometer system for any reflector signals and it can increase the speed of signal processing,which is available in engineering field.
