Multiple output states from passive mode-locked fiber lasers

It is effective to produce super short pulses from passive mode-locked fiber lasers based on nonlinear polarization rotation due to their simple and compact all-fiber configurations.In order to study the operation states in a passive mode-locked fiber laser,the effect of normal solitons,bound solitons and noise-like pulse state was investigated in experiments.Experiment results show that there are multiple output states from a passive mode-locked fiber laser.
