Xu Wengcheng, Qiu Zhiren, Lin Weizhu, Yu Zhenxin
1990, 14(6): 9-13.
Abstract:
A rapid-scanning autocorrelator introducing a periodic linear time delay to a train of picosecond and femtosecond laser pulses is described. The second order intensity autocorrelation of the pulse train is then continuously displayed on an oscilloscope to realize rapid monitoring and measurement of the laser pulses in real-time.
Beam spreads upon specular reflection of laser beams in a turbulent atmosphere
Zhang Yixin
1990, 14(6): 14-20.
Abstract:
An general expressions are derived for the short-term and long-term average optical beam spreads of laser beams, which were reflected by plane mirror, propagating in a weakly inhomogeneous medium. The effects of reflection of the beam spreads have been discussed The results shown the reflacted amplification ratio of the shortterm beam spreads is little more than the amplification ratio of the long-term beam spreads. The amplification coefficient of the long-term beam spreads is 1.52 and the short-term spreads is little more than 1.5 of focused laser beam.

1990, 14(6): 21-24.
Abstract:
Simulation calculation by computer of Q-switching proeess of BDN dye Q-switched NAB laser was introduced and the influence of factors of NAB laser on Q-switched pulse was analysed in this Paper.Meanwhile,we have obtained the valuable singl Q-switched pulse, output energy of which is 5.25mJ and pulse duration is 3ns, by means of high pumping rate power supply.
The field comparative tests of two kinds of laser rangefinder operating at 1.54μm and 1.06μm wavelengths
Zhong Ming, Han Kai, Yang Zemin, Zhai Gang, Lu Xi, Wu Dazhi, Jin Feng
1990, 14(6): 25-28.
Abstract:
The first domestic success of rangefinding with 1.54μm Raman laser is reported. The comparative rangefinding tests at 1.06μm and 1.54μm wavelengths have been conducted on atmosphere transmission charateristics and penetrating smoke ability in the field.
Tomography of transient three-dimensional temperature field by moire deflectometry
Miao Pengcheng, Yan Dapeng, Ni Xiaowu
1990, 14(6): 29-34.
Abstract:
The tomography principle of 3-D temperature field by moire deflectometry is discussed. A multipth moire deflectometry is presented which is used to obtain multi-direction deflectmetric data of a transient field and then to reconstruct the 3-D temperature distribution by computer tomography. The problem of sampling angle for asymmetric field is analyzied in theory, and the relation between angle interval and angle frequency is presented. In this paper a space 3-D temperature distribution of asymmetric flame is measured by using pulse YAG laser as source in this method, and the accuracy of measured result is consist with that obtained by interfcrometry.

The study of plasma characteristics of CO2 waveguide laser
Ma Yangwu, Chen Yuqing
1990, 14(6): 35-40.
Abstract:
This paper is the first to report the plasma characteristics of CO2 waveguide laser. The electron temperatures of the plasma of CO2 waveguide laser in different conditions are measured by means of a double probe technique, and a series of values of the electron temperatures of plasma is obtained. An analysis is made of the dependence of the electron temperature on the discharge current, gas pressure, and gas mixture.

Pseudoconjugation of optical arrays
Xiao Guohua, Song Ruhua, Le Shixiao
1990, 14(6): 41-46.
Abstract:
The optical arrays, which can compensate the medium distortion, have been used as a new optical device pseudoconjugator, and have been developed in previous years. Both theories and experiments in this domain are reviewed.
Dynamic testing of optical disk
Gong Mali, Pan Longfa, Xu Duanyi, Jin Guofan
1990, 14(6): 46-49.
Abstract:
By utilizing quadrant detectors, a dynamic testing methord for optical disk is proposed. The disk's height variation and tilt are measured under driven by the motors of disk driver. The analysis of the results is made with a brief discussion on the error in measurement.

Hou Shifa, Wang Wenyun
1990, 14(6): 50-53.
Abstract:
The interactive mechanism between rhodamine 6G or xylene red B and several surfactants and energy transfer of this binary dye system in aqueous micellar solutions have been studied by means of fluorescence spectroscopy. When the mixed dye system (~10-4mol/dm3) in micellar matrics is pumped by N2 laser, a highly efficient energy transfer dye laser is measured in super-radiation mode.

Liu Yongsheng, Chen Geling, Zhang Keqian
1990, 14(6): 57-60.
Abstract:
In this paper, we theoretically discuss the selection of prisms for a given waveguide, experimentally research the coupling of invisible light (He-Ne,1.15μm) with a transparent waveguide. The result shows that a cylindrical lens can eliminate the dispersive effection of prism material. Finally, we realize the coupling of He-Ne, 1.15μm laser with YIG/GGG waveguide.

Xu Xin, Zhang Zhenxi, Zhan Kenhua
1990, 14(6): 61-63.
Abstract:
The polarization phenomenon of muscle tissue is discovered and the polarity is measured on the basis of diffraction fringe by He-Ne laser action it, using a device of light intensity distribution.A preliminary analysis has been made from the structure and chemical composition of the muscle tissue. It is shown that the polarization is caused by the structure of muscle fibre.
