CHAO Ming-ju, YU Ju-mei, LIANG Er-jun, YUAN Bin
2005, 29(6): 568-571.
Abstract:
The experiments of laser-clad Fe-based alloy powder doped with and without Nb2O5 on medium carbon steel 45 by powder feeding are carried out.A crack-free,fine and homogeneous Fe-based coating is obtained at a proper amount of Nb2O5-doped under suitable optimizing processing parameters. The effect on microstructure of different amounts of Nb2O5 to Fe-based coating is studied with scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy and Xray diffraction. The cracking on the surface of the coatings is observed and the hardness in the cross-section of the clad layers is measured. It is reveled that lots and lots of fine dendritic crystal grown along different directions in the cladding layers of G312+0.6% Nb2O5(mass fraction) are uniformly dispersed in the matrix, which is a mixture containing γ(Fe,Ni) solid-solution and chromium carbide or boride. It is considered that the improvement of properties of the coating is due to the following two reasons. On the one hand,Nb atoms can enhance intercrystalline cohesion when they are located in the crystal boundary. On the other hand, particles of NbC,reduced from Nb2O5 by C at high temperature and deposited primarily from the alloy solution, become new crystalline nuclei and increase the nuclear rate in solidification, which leads to the dendritic turn to fine. The cracking susceptibility of the Fe-based coating doped a proper content of Nb2O5 can be reduced because of the decrease in amount of crisp parts in the layers and increase in tenacity of the coatings.

Abstract:
The human serum polarization fluorescence spectra(SPFS) are excited with 488.0nm Ar-ion laser and collected between 495nm and 640nm both in horizontal and vertical polarization direction respectively. The bandwidth of the SPFS are calculated both in the full width at half maximum and 0.707 bandwidth in intensity. The SPFS from the abnormal are always wider than those from the healthy. However, the difference in the serum fluorescence spectra(SFS) is not obvious. This above result is a valuable reference in the future liver hypohepatia diagnosis.

MA Zai-su, FENG Guo-ying, CHEN Jian-guo, HAN Jin-hua
2005, 29(6): 585-588.
Abstract:
Based on the Fresnel-Kirchhoff diffraction theory, the focusing property of the one-dimension super-Gaussian beam transmitted through the thin Kerr medium is studied. The simulation for the phase-delay ranging-2rad~2rad is made, and the results show that, for the medium with positive nonlinear refraction index, the Kerr effect of the beam improves the focused intensity, broadens the relative focal shift and reduces the peak intensity on the geometry focal plane;but for negative index medium,it will reduce the focused intensity, however, the other focusing properties remain the same as the positive one. Both conditions can be discussed together, and the influence of the Kerr effect on the focusing property can be reduced by enlarging the beam Fresnel number.

2005, 29(6): 589-593.
Abstract:

2005, 29(6): 620-622.
Abstract:
A new optical encryption technique based on double random phase computer-generated hologram of asymmetry fractional Fourier transform is presented. In this method, two phase functions are introduced into the input image and its fractional domain spectrum before the fractional Fourier transform hologram of original object of different order in the x and y directions. The transformed result is coded and fabricated into computer-generated hologram. In order to reconstruct the encoded image, two random functions and two orders must be matched.Because the decoding keys are added to four from two,anti-counterfeiting intensity can be improved greatly when it is used to encrypt image or anti-counterfeit.

2005, 29(6): 641-644.
Abstract:
Based on Collins formula,an analytical propagation expression for Hermite-Laguerre-Gaussian(HLG) beams through a paraxial optical ABCD system is derived and used to study their propagation properties in free-space and through a thin lens. The results show that, apart from the mode indices m,n,it is necessary for HLG beams to introduce a new parameter α,which affects their intensity distribution and symmetry property.HLG beams preserve their shape upon propagation. There is a focal shift in HLG beams which is independent of the parameters m,n,and α,which means that HLG beams with different values of m,n,α are focused at the same place. The M2 factor of HLG beams is also given.
