Abstract:
The optical limiting properties of the novel pentanuclear ‘open' planar shaped metal cluster compound WOS4Cu4I2(py)6 for 532nm laser pulse was studied.The optical limiting performance is better than that of fullerene under the same condition.The results measured with Z-scan technique show that the excited state absorption is the main mechanism of the optical limiting in the metal cluster solution.

Abstract:
The Q-branch CARS of N2,O2,H2O and rota tional CARS of H2(S(5) and S(6)) were measured and used to determining temper atures and concentrations of H2 and O2 in a supersonic combustion flame.The Q-branch CARS of H2O were used to obtain the curve of area ratio of resonat and non-resonat CARS versus concentration.The new method of simultaneously measuring CARS of H2 and O2,which was developed in our laboratory,provides a way for simultaneously obtaining temperature and concentration of H2 and O2 in flame,especially for nitrogen free condition.

Abstract:
Optical proximity correction is an effective and essential tool in submicron photolithography.In this paper,based on the theory of wavefront engineering,we presente a new correction method to reduce proximity effects by adding bright and dark figure or feature on the mask and analyzing the mechanism for correcting proximity effect.Some 0.5μm features have been got by using the new correction method in a I line projection system which can only fabricate 0.7μm figure without OPC.The satisfied experiment results are obtained and the advantages or disadvantages are discussed by using different OPC method.

Abstract:
In this paper,a methodology of produc ing a line focus by Axilens is presented.The surface differential equation of an Axilens is generated and its approximate solutions are derived.The diffraction properties of the Axilens are analyzed theoretically and numerically.The errors in the approximate solutions are analyzed.A Fourier series expansion of the solutions of the surface differential equation is given.Experiments are then performed on two Axilenses that are designed and manufactured by a Taylor Hobson Nanoform 300 Ultra-precision Lathe.The experimental results confirm that the desired line focus by Axilens can be achieved by the developed method.
Semiempirical formula based on Fraunhofer-Diffraction and fitted with particle size distribution inversion

Abstract:
Fraunhofer-Diffraction has not only theoretical but also practical meanings.The measurement of particle size is an important application of Fraunhofer-Diffraction.In order to precisely calculate the particle size,it is necessary to make the results of Fraunhofer-Diffraction unlimitedly to close to Mie solution.But the considerable difference between results of Fraunhofer-Diffraction and Mie solution exists,if the particle size parameter x,defined as x=πd/λ,closes by one.This paper proposed a more exact semiempirical formula to fit with the particle size distribution inversion.According to the semiempirical formula,the calculation results are exactly coincident with Mie's solution at small forward angles.Comparing with the approximation of Fymat A L and Mease K D,the formula gives much higher precise of measurement of particle size distribution for all the range,especially for minute particles.Also,this paper presented two methods to perform the particle size distribution inversion.

Abstract:
This paper summarized the development of near in frared lasers,reviewed the present situation of single frequency tunable Cr3+:LiSrAlF6 laser,and briefly analyzed the future development.Finally,it points out that the single frequency Cr3+:LiSrAlF6 laser has wide application prospect.

Based on the density matrix equations and by means of the iteration method,the optimization of operating parameters including operating gas pressure,reflection coefficients of input and output meshes of the laser was studied theoretically.The measurement showed that the theoretical calculation were in agreement with experimental results.

Abstract:
According to spectrum technology of electric optical radio frequency and phase modulation,this paper presented the theoretical and experimental research of enhancing effect of intra-cavity phase modulation.The calculation of cavity enhancing ability shown if the depth of the modulation was less than one,the ratio of the intensity of one and zero level sideband was 9.The result was well proved by experiments.

Abstract:
A new apparatus for TEA CO2 laser grate rapidly tuning system under the control of monolithic microprocessor is proposed.Some important techniques will be introduced in this proper,such as the design of triggering and tuning system,the principle of zero infra-red photoelectricity transducer,the control of stepping motor,the control software design and experimental research.This is a simple and usable open loop control system.

Abstract:
This paper presents the prospect,preparing method of the reflecting volume holographic pictures.Before the plate was explored,it was soaked in TEA solution.After explored and chemically processing,the emulsion thickness was changed,so the wavelength of the volume grating and the color of the reconstructed image were changed,too.This paper indicates the relationship of the TEA concentration to color of the reconstructed image,the making method of multicolor hologram in a plate,and points out how to compensate the differences of the diffraction efficiency and color difference.

Abstract:
The propagation properties of three-dimensional flattened Gaussian beams passing through a rectangular annular aperture with a central obscuration have been studied in detail using Collins diffraction integral formula.Numerical calculation results of both Fresnel and Fraunhofer diffractions have shown the dependence of their intensity distributions and power (energy) focusability in the far-field on the obscure ratioe and truncation parameter δ.
