Li Hongpu, Lan Xinju, Liu Yaolan
1994, 18(1): 12-16.
Abstract:
By setting up a suitable active mode-locked mode, the evolution process of a instantaneous pulse is simulated with a numerical calculation method. The simula-tion results show that the primary radiation come to a stable mode-lock state only after 1~1.5ms reflections(about 1 ms). With a simple method, the evolution time of a mode-locked pulse measured experimentally. This experimental result is consistent with theory calculation basically.

1994, 18(1): 23-27.
Abstract:
This paper introduces attenuated total reflection(ATR)method to study electrolysis of Cu in CuSO4 solution.By using the method, the influences of the distance and the voltage between electrodes, and the solution concentration on the electrolysis are studied. The thickness and complex dielectric constants of deposited copper film on electrode are calculated. It's easy to realize real-time and on-site measurement.

1994, 18(1): 28-30.
Abstract:
In this paper, based on the theoretical analysis two new problems, existing in phase conjugation cavity, are pointed. The first problem is that both spherical wave and Gaussian beam in the resonator with a spherical mirror and a phase conjugation mirror are eigenmode of cavity. The second problem is spherical wave and Gaussian beam in a resonator with a Gaussian reflectance mirror and a phase conjugation mirror are not self-consistent.

The optical parameters computation for CO2 laser marking system
Chen Yihong, Tang Zhonghua, Qiu Junlin
1994, 18(1): 38-41.
Abstract:
The laser marking has been rapidly developed because of its clarity and long life of the laser brand.Marking quality depends on the optical parameters of the system. This paper discusses the relation among the system parameters, such as energy density, image length, body distance, etc. The experimental results of the energy density thresholds of some materials are listed. Those results are useful for designing the optical system of laser marking system.

1994, 18(1): 42-45.
Abstract:
The experiment results of the temperature dependence of the gain coefficient and response time in two-beam coupling in BaTiO3 crystal at 830nm are analyzed theoretically by using the one-carrier and One-level band-conduction model. The experimental phenomena could be explained semiquantitatively by using the theory after the temperature dependence of quantum efficiency is considered.

1994, 18(1): 50-54.
Abstract:
The principles of plasma ion-assisted deposition(IAD)and a new high vacuum plasma sotirce are introduced. With a hollow cold cathode discharge, the plasma sotirce can be operated in ambient pressure from 1×10-3pa to 1×10-1pa,the reactive gas and the nonreactive gas can be used as working gas.The energy of Ar- in argon plasma,h1eatstired with a Longmuir probe,is 50~80eV,depending on pressure and discharge current density. It has been experimentally confirmed that both the optical properties and mechanical properties of single-layer films of ZnS and SiO2 prepared in argon plasma and oxygen plasma have been improved considerably as compared to those films obtained with traditional vapor deposition.

1994, 18(1): 61-64.
Abstract:
A new double Fabry-Perot interferometer system with optical fibre for measuring micro-displacement and experiment study about its sensitivity threshold has been introduced in this paper. This system has the characteristics of high accuracy,interference-free compensation due to parallel double-channel configuration.Meanwhile the system may be suitable for accurate measurement of micro-displacement,such as calibration of displacement sensors, location in geometrical metrology, and for measurement of topography of fine manufactured surfaces and other physical quantities which could be transferred into displacement or optical path difference.
