Abstract:
In this paper,the refraction indices of Ti:Mg:LiNbO3 crystal has been experimentally studied and the Sellmeir equations have been given out.By using the crystal and an audio-optical modulator,the frequency doubling from 1.064μm to 0.532μm at room temperature is well developed,the conversion efficiency is more than 50%.

Abstract:
The purpose of the paper is to introduce a new technique of improving the laser alignment accuracy which is built on the basis that the laser beam drift can he described by trigonometrical functions under the certain conditions.The drift volume f(ι):of cach related point in a effective work area can be calculated.Finding the function f(ι):of each measured point in the length l,we can compensated the error of the measured point with the computer technique.So the measure and alignment accuracy can he improved.This technique is more flexible and convenient.

Laser cladding of Ni based-WC alloy coatings on steel 45 has been performed with a 2kW CO2 laser.The experimental results show that the laser cladded layer of the specimen possesses higher hardness,wear and corrosion resistance.The effects of WC content variation in alloys on wear resistance of laser clsdded layer are also discussed in this paper.

Based on Taguchi method,an optimizing design of small-sized YAG laser is made.According to orthogonal layerout,the tests are arranged,and using signal-noiee-ratio(SNR)as the stability index of output characteristics of the laser,the optimum parameters combination of the laser is found out.This method greatly improves the dynamic efficiency of the laser.
