Abstract:
1kW laser output has been realized by replacing helium (CO2-N2-He) with argon(CO2-N2-Ar) and stable operation is obtained at the level of 1.2 kW laser output by using CO2-N2 in the transverse-flowing CO2 laser.

We found the pressure phenomenon of pulse light in a laser cavity in August 1975.In order to explore its applicable significance, we have made some experiments and got more satisfactory results on the principle and applications.

Abstract:
The optical system introduced here is an optical antenna designed for ship-loaded gun-controlling laser ranger. This antenna has come into use in our institute. It has receiving and aiming two functions. The principle of operation, determination of parameter, receiving and aiming double waveband spectrum type and handling of aberration are introduced in this article. The design results is also given out here.

Abstract:
The opresent paper first reports investigation results of CO2 laser upconversion in an AgGaS2 crystal into near infrared radiation detected by an avalanche photodiode SPD-052. A value of the noiseequivalent power (NEP)~3.8×10-8W, or the normalized detectivity (Dλ#)~1010cmHz1/2W-1 has been obtained. The power conversion efficiency of type Ⅱ noncollincar phase matching is estimated to be 10%.

Abstract:
A new experimental method for checking micro wedge angles of glass plates is presented. The method uses laser speckle technique to record the shift amount of speckle patterns due to micro wedge angles, and thus micro wedge cangles of the test piece are induced. The method is characterized by simple light, mon-contact and high accuracy.
