In this paper we have first introduced the propagation theory of optical beam in the optical fiber and the requirements for conditions.the incident optical beam,then we have found the propagation According to these conditions a available method,making the terminal face of the optical fiber to be a convex lens is Provided.By this method we can not only increase the requirements for the incident optical beam and the adjustment for coupling.

The preliminary experiments using the model SF-3A quartz crystal monitor for infrared coating are described.SF-3A monitor is feasible as a film thickness monitor,and the resulting results are consistent with the calculation and similar with optical monitoring.

Abstract:
Laser alloying with 5kW transverse-flow CO2 laser on the surfaces of No.45 steel examples are investigated in this paper.The surffaces of these examples have been coated with Co base alloy powder or Cr powder Laser alloying surfaces analysis were carried out by utilizing microscopy and energy spectrum method.It has been shown in our experiment that laser alloying on the surfaces of No.45 steel is possiable and is beneficial to improving wear and erosion resistance and so on.
